Komaru Enterprises LLC
Komaru Enterprises LLC, based in Brooklyn, specializes in restoring and preserving historic landmark buildings, blending original craftsmanship with modern design. Founded in 2013, the firm is known for projects like "The Castle" and the Elkins House in Crown Heights, as well as the Moorish-inspired "The Temple."
Its contracting arm, Perfect Renovation, has pioneered in Brooklyn's landmarked neighborhoods since 2002, completing hundreds of townhouse renovations. Komaru also provides a community art and music space for concerts, theater, and exhibitions, reflecting its commitment to culture and design excellence.

nC2 Architects
nC2 is a Crown Heights-based young and dynamic firm with a rare combination of fresh design enthusiasm and mature professionalism. The firm's leaders, educated at some of the best architecture programs in the country, are licensed architects with extensive experience in the historic restoration of townhouses and other types of buildings in Brooklyn's Landmark historic districts.
Richard Goodstein AIA founded nC2 architecture in 2006 after a long and enlightening journey studying, working, and traveling in many different cities and places. Born in Brooklyn and raised on Long Island, Richard earned his Bachelor of Arts from Columbia University in 1986 and his Master of Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania in 1991.

Ashley Richards
Ashley Richards is an Interior designer & color specialist based out of NYC and Montréal. She has a B.F.A. in Painting and Drawing from Concordia University and certifications in Interior Design and Sustainability from Parsons School of Design at The New School. After working for 5 years for other Brooklyn-based designers, she decided to branch out on her own, gaining experience from her peers and studying interiors and textiles while travelling to places like Mexico, Japan, Portugal, and Thailand.
Ashley believes that design is a sensorial experience that is not just about the aesthetics of the space but about how it makes people feel and interact with each other. With a focus on listening to her clients' needs and responding with ideas that can help create a space that truly feels like ‘home’.

Divan Shamshtein
Divan Shamstein is a real estate entrepreneur and interior design specialist with a passion for NYC landmark preservation. A key member of Komaru Enterprises since 2013, he brings a meticulous eye for detail, ensuring each restoration honors the building’s character while seamlessly integrating modern functionality.
His expertise in interior design elevates spaces beyond standard restoration in every project he participates in. Two of Komaru’s projects, including Pacific 1450, received the NYC Preservation Award, recognizing the team’s excellence.
From the overall vision to the smallest details, his refined approach creates cohesive, timeless spaces that respect history while enhancing modern living.
